Aniimo Nurturing: How to Raise Prismana Flow and Increase Rare Encounters

The nurturing system in Aniimo is a key feature that allows players to cultivate the Prismana Flow in different regions, thereby increasing the likelihood of encountering special Aniimo and accelerating overall progress. It is recommended to engage with this mechanic early in the game.

Understanding Nurturing Blooms

As players explore the world of Idyll, they will discover nurturing blooms, identifiable by a dark blue, tulip-shaped icon on the map. Interacting with these blooms can initiate a "wild surge," a concentrated spawn of Aniimo native to that particular area. During a wild surge, a designated zone appears, and numerous Aniimo spawn, which the player must capture within a time limit. Successful completion of a wild surge yields Prismana Energy, which in turn raises the Prismatic Energy State of the map area. A higher Prismatic Energy State directly correlates with an increased chance of encountering Prismana Aniimo, though reaching the required energy level necessitates completing multiple nurture attempts.

Initiating a Nurture Sequence

To begin a nurture sequence, players interact with a nurture bloom and select the "nurture" option, typically found in the bottom-left portion of the screen. The map also provides details on the Prismana Aniimo associated with each area, displaying silhouettes that can help identify specific targets for collection. Starting a nurture generally requires Vain Essence Stones. However, players receive three complimentary nurture charges daily, with additional charges recharging over time. It is advisable to utilize these free daily charges to avoid missing opportunities for progression without incurring costs.

Utilizing Shards for Targeted Encounters

Shards are special items that can be used as tribute before a nurture event. These shards come in various elemental types, and the type of shard used influences the elemental affinities of the Aniimo that may appear during the subsequent wild surge. The option to add or remove a tribute is usually found in the bottom-right corner of the screen. For example, employing a Grass Shard will attract grass-type Aniimo in the vicinity, while a Dark Shard will target dark-type creatures. Shards can be acquired through various means, including scavenging from environmental objects like vases and stumps, purchasing them from vendors at the main outpost, or potentially earning them as rewards.

Maximizing Prismatic Energy Gains

While capturing Aniimo contributes to the gradual increase of an area's Prismatic Energy State, completing wild surges from blooms is the most efficient method for rapid advancement. Interacting with a bloom after a successful wild surge provides a direct boost of Prismatic Energy. This increase not only enhances the probability of a Prismana Aniimo appearing but also raises the chances of encountering evolved or "shiny" sparkling variants of creatures. The progression of the Prismatic Energy level is indicated by color changes: White (empty), Green, Blue, Purple, and Orange. As players reach higher energy levels, the cost to nurture increases, but so does the potential for rare spawns. The process of completing wild surges and leveling the Prismatic Energy State is described as a gradual grind, with all bloom regions initially starting at an "empty" state that requires sustained effort to fully develop.
