'Clean Hands' Quest Steps
The "Clean Hands" quest must be completed in a single round on Pendola Pass, with four distinct objectives in sequence:
- Locate the nomad camp situated under the Railyard.
- Search the nomad camp for the polluted item.
- Transport the equatorial sundial to the church spire in Old Town.
- Deliver the equatorial sundial to the Nomadic Envoy.
Players are advised to equip a loadout with a safe pocket for the equatorial sundial, to protect it in case of player or enemy encounters before extraction via the ballistic gondola.
Finding the Nomad Camp Under the Railyard
The Railyard is an expansive area, but the nomad camp itself is relatively small. Players should head towards the southwestern section of the Railyard, near the point where the trains descend underground. A doorway situated to the west of this area leads to the camp, which is identifiable by its tents and scattered belongings.
Locating the Polluted Item in the Nomad Camp
Within the center of the nomad camp lies the polluted item. Players will find a yellow bag next to a green barrel; searching this bag will yield the item, which is an equatorial sundial.
Discovering the Church in Old Town
The Old Town is located on the far western side of Pendola Pass, distinct from the Old Hamlet to the south. The church is centrally positioned within this area. Players can reach the top of the spire by utilizing the zipline inside the church or other traversal methods. Once at the summit, players must interact with the prompt while facing east to present the equatorial sundial.
After successfully presenting the item, players must extract safely with it. Storing the equatorial sundial in a safe pocket or otherwise protecting it is crucial. Completing the quest by delivering the item to the Nomadic Envoy in Speranza rewards players with 5,000 XP, a shield recharger, a sextant, and a battered paperback.
