The "Exploring Pendola Pass" quest in Arc Raiders is designed to guide players through several key areas of the 'Frozen Trail' update map. Given by Celeste, this quest requires players to visit three specific locations and defeat 20 Arc enemies. The objectives can be completed across multiple rounds, allowing players to integrate them with other quests like "Clean Hands" and "Sizing Things Up."
Quest Objectives
The "Exploring Pendola Pass" quest has four primary objectives, which can be tackled in any order:
- Defeat 20 Arc enemies.
- Locate and search the control room at the Cielo Sereno Observatory for power.
- Find a wire and use it to connect to the antenna atop the tallest tower in the Railyard.
- Search three containers within the Commissary Supermarket.
While defeating 20 Arc enemies is a straightforward task, utilizing long-range weapons like the Anvil or Renegade is recommended for dealing with flying threats such as Wasps and Hornets. Players are advised to avoid the new Bully enemy type.
It is crucial to have a wire in your inventory when heading to the Railyard. For both the Railyard antenna task and the observatory objective, bringing a mobility gadget such as a grappling hook, snaphook, or zipline is highly recommended. The quest itself provides three ziplines upon acceptance, so players should ensure they bring these along.
Cielo Sereno Observatory Control Room
The Cielo Sereno Observatory is situated in the northeastern section of Pendola Pass. The most efficient method to reach the control room is by utilizing a zipline, grappling hook, or snaphook to access the building's roof. Alternatively, players can use the stairs located beneath the structure. Players should look for any opening to drop into the building. The control room is located on the western side, facing south. Interacting with the "inspect the tech" prompt will complete this objective. It is advised to complete this step when not actively engaged in combat, as activating the control room can temporarily electrocute the player.
Railyard Antenna Connection
For the Railyard objective, players must bring a wire. The tallest tower is located on the southeastern side of the Railyard area, east of the main "Railyard" text on the map and south of the Controlled Receiving Facility. Reaching the summit of this tower requires a zipline, grappling hook, or snaphook. Once at the top, players should interact with the prompt to connect to the antenna, which will consume the wire. The antenna will then emit a series of beeps upon successful connection.
Commissary Supermarket Containers
The Commissary Supermarket is centrally located within Pendola Pass. Players need to search three containers inside the building. Importantly, these containers can be searched even if another player has already done so. It is advisable to complete this objective last, as a ballistic gondola is situated nearby, facilitating a safe extraction.
Upon returning to Celeste in Speranza after completing all objectives, players will be rewarded with 5,000 XP, a snow globe, a medium shield, and an Osprey I.
