The "Someone Else's Shoes" quest in Arc Raiders requires players to search Stella Montis for androids on behalf of Celeste, as part of an investigation into Project Pathos. This quest can be challenging due to Stella Montis being one of the game's more difficult maps.
Quest Steps
The quest consists of three sequential objectives: first, scan any android on Stella Montis; second, locate a specific android within research lab three in the Medical Bay; and third, find the control room in the Western Tunnels to search for clues.
Scanning an Android on Stella Montis
Androids are distributed across Stella Montis. A reliable location for the initial scan is the southern area of the Sandbox. Additional androids can be found in the Archives and Medical Research areas.
Finding the Android in Research Lab Three
Research lab three is situated in the southeastern part of the Medical Research zone, which connects to Cargo Dock A. Players should enter the lab and locate the third bed, positioned behind blue curtains. An android can be found on this bed and interacted with.
Locating the Control Room in the Western Tunnels
The Western Tunnel is on the lowest level of Stella Montis, serving as a passage between the Lobby Metro in the northeast and the Loading Bay in the center. The control room is a well-lit area located at the junction within the tunnels. Players must enter this room and interact with the prompt to retrieve security footage, thereby completing the quest.
Upon completion, players return to Celeste to receive 5,000 XP, three herbal bandages, two shield rechargers, and a Stella Montis Medical Storage key.
