The "To The Skies" quest in Arc Raiders requires players to repair a prototype ballistic gondola extraction method on the Pendola Pass map. This involves finding one of four gondola prototype locations and gathering four specific Arc materials to complete the repairs.
'To The Skies' Quest Breakdown
The quest consists of five main objectives. Players must first scan a crashed Arc probe and then an Arc courier. The third objective involves locating one of four possible gondola prototype sites: near the Red Lakes, in the Farmlands, in the East Plains, or at the top of the Dried Riverbed. Following this, players must install four specific Arc materials: Performance Steel, Pop Trigger, Synthetic Resin, and Thermo Lining. The final step is to activate the repaired gondola prototype.
Locating Arc Probes and Couriers
To scan a crashed Arc probe or an Arc courier, players simply need to approach them and interact with the prompt. Probes are identified as longer devices embedded in the ground, often emitting smoke, while couriers are shorter and wider. These can be found on any map other than Stella Montis and are sometimes indicated by a periodic beeping sound.
Gondola Prototype Locations
Players are required to find only one of the four gondola prototypes. The required materials for repair are Arc Performance Steel, Arc Pop Trigger, Arc Synthetic Resin, and Arc Thermo Lining.
Red Lakes Gondola Prototype
This prototype is located on Dam Battlegrounds, adjacent to the Red Lakes Hatch and north of the Red Lakes Balcony.
Farmlands Gondola Prototype
Found in the Farmlands area on Blue Gate, this prototype is situated directly south of Olive Grove and southwest of the Ruined Homestead.
East Plains Gondola Prototype
This prototype is on Spaceport, east of the East Elevator and north of the Communications Tower.
Dried Riverbed Gondola Prototype
Located on Riven Tides, this prototype can be found under a bridge south of the Dried Riverbed and west of the Tennis Court.
Acquiring Arc Materials
Three of the four required materials can typically be found by looting Arc probes and couriers. If these do not yield all necessary components, players can search the enormous Arc remains known as baron husks, found on Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Blue Gate, being mindful of potential fire traps. Arc Pop Triggers are obtained by defeating 'pop' enemies, which are small, spherical creatures that explode on proximity.
Once the four Arc parts are installed on the gondola prototype, activating it and returning to Apollo will reward the player with 8,000 XP and three different Arc materials.
