Completing the 'Every Dog Has Her Day' side story in Control Resonant requires players to locate a series of sad dogs and then find a specific dragon toy to place in their basket. This guide details the locations of both the dogs and their toys across various areas of the game.
Dog Locations
West Incursion Zone
The dog in the West Incursion Zone can be found north of the car park near the 'The Incursion Fault' mission area. From the House of Mirrors, head left and use Shift to ascend a wall. Continue past the car park, and the dog will be atop a shifted roof.
Central
For the dog in Central, begin at the 'Central Frontline' fast travel spot. The dog is located southeast of this point. Navigate through the basketball court area or across rooftops to reach the road north of East Park Station. Climb the scaffolding to a roof where the dog awaits.
Evacuation Zone
In the Evacuation Zone, the dog is situated on the road north of the 'Main Street' fast travel spot. Look for the Chowrap billboard; the dog is on the roof above it. You will need to use Shift to reach the adjacent roof where the dog is located.
Downtown
To find the dog in Downtown, travel away from the Oldest House down the main road until it ends. Climb the buildings to your right until you reach a small garden area, where the dog is located.
The Park
North of the Mold Factory fast travel spot lies the dog in The Park. If you have this fast travel unlocked, head north across the roofs. Otherwise, navigate through the car park, take the first road on the right, and look for yellow mold. Use the Reach ability to ascend to the roofs, or carefully traverse the mold if Reach is unavailable.
Underpass
The dog in the Underpass is likely encountered during the 'Recursions and Iterations' mission, near the first Research Site. If returning, use the 'Research Stations' fast travel spot. Jump to the block opposite the research site, follow the path around, and climb blocks to reach the dog's location, which is beneath a square hole in the ceiling.
Unknown
To find the dog in the Unknown, travel to the island left of the Field Office, accessible via the 'Tower Island' fast travel point. From the fast travel spot, go past the water tower and drop down to successive roofs until you reach the building with the dog near a small garden area.
The Gap
After finding all other dogs, visit The Gap. The final dog can be found inside this area, situated between the upgrade station and the Combat Abilities check.
Toy Locations
West Incursion Zone
Find the Chowrap billboard and jump to the roof above it. From there, Shift to the roof on your left to find the dragon toy on an air vent. Return it to the dog.
Central
The toy in Central is located on the wall opposite the dog, often visible below some lasers. Clear any enemies before retrieving the toy from beneath the Chowrap billboard and returning it.
Evacuation Zone
When approaching the dog's location on the roof near the Chowrap billboard, you'll find the toy directly in front of the building's access door, below the dog. Retrieve it and bring it back.
Downtown
From the dog's location, drop to the road below. The Chowrap billboard will be to your left. Climb atop the building displaying the billboard to find the toy amidst cardboard.
The Park
Locate the Chowrap billboard and lift north of the dog. You'll need to power the lift. First, destroy mold blocking a door near the Mold Factory fast travel spot to find power cores. Then, use a Power Core Station to transfer electricity to one of these cores. Return to the road between the dog and toy, find the lift's power core, and insert the electricity. Use the powered lift to reach the roof containing the toy.
Underpass
The toy in the Underpass is directly above the dog. Follow the left-hand path with the red carpet until you can Shift onto a section of red carpet on the ceiling. Navigate the platforming sections, then follow the red carpet path until you reach a desk area. The toy is floating near an unaligned desk. To return it, drop through the hole, enter a blocked-off office, and jump through another hole to reach the dog.
Unknown
From the dog's location, drop to the road below and proceed to the park area. Locate a shifted building above non-shifted trees and use Reach to jump to its roof. Travel upwards across the rooftops until you find a balcony area on a skyscraper. The toy is on an upper balcony. Jump to this balcony, clear any enemies, and pick up the toy. Returning it to the dog involves jumping to the building where the dog is.
Reward
Completing the 'Every Dog Has Her Day' side story rewards players with the recipe for the Trusted Spanner artifact, which increases Raw Damage by 15%. The necessary components are four Undefined Readings, 400 Source, and three Violent Echos.
