A mysterious dog awaits in Control Resonant, initiating the "Every Dog Has Her Day" side story quest. To complete it, players must locate and retrieve scattered dog toys, each identical to a teal dinosaur with purple spots. These toys are found in various zones throughout the game, often near the dog's location, which is marked by a distinctive Chowrap billboard.
Downtown
In the Downtown zone, the dog toy is located on a rooftop directly across from the dog. Players can reach it by using the Launch, Elevate, and air dodge abilities. The toy should be placed on the dog's bed to progress the quest.
West Incursion Zone
The mysterious dog in the West Incursion Zone sits atop the sideways building northwest of the parking garage. Accessing this area requires completing the fault within the parking garage to unlock the "Shift" ability, which allows traversal on altered gravity surfaces. Once the toy is retrieved, players should look for the Chowrap billboard and then spot the toy on a nearby rooftop AC unit.
Evacuation Zone
Before reaching the dog in the Evacuation Zone, players must first complete the Subway fault in the northeast section to unlock the "Reach" ability, enabling propulsion to light-bending orbs. The dog toy is on the same rooftop. If players possess the "Shift" ability from the West Incursion Zone, they can use it to traverse to the other roof. Alternatively, players can ascend a ramp below the dog, jump towards the dog's bed, and drop the toy during a brief window.
Central Zone
In the Central zone, the dog is situated on a rooftop in the southeast corner, identifiable by a Chowrap billboard. The toy is in the adjacent alleyway, beneath another Chowrap billboard. Players must navigate through a laser-filled area to retrieve it. Due to the inability to use "Reach" while carrying the toy, players will need to use scaffolding and suspended platforms to return to the rooftop.
The Park
For "The Park" location, teleport to the "Mold Factory" fast travel door and proceed northeast across rooftops. The dog is found near the northeastern corner. The toy is across the street, east of the dog, near an elevator and a Chowrap billboard. Players can activate the elevator by finding and using a power block in the parking lot southwest of the dog. Another method involves using a ramp on the southern building to glide over, requiring the "Extended Rush" ability, followed by precise air dodges to reach the elevator.
Underpass
The mysterious dog in the Underpass area is located atop a pillar northeast of the Research Site. Players will need to utilize the "Reach" ability to traverse between pillars, following teleporting platforms. The dog's toy is situated on the ceiling. Players can reach it by following a red carpeted path or by using "Shift" after jumping from a nearby rectangular box. Once the toy is retrieved, players can use "Reach" to return to the dog's level and complete the task.
