The 'Power Lines' mission in Control Resonant presents players with a series of puzzles involving rerouting power through various stations. This guide details how to overcome the challenges at Factory Station, East Park Station, Perimeter Station, and Vanished Station.
Rerouting Factory Station
The first objective in the 'Power Lines' mission is to reroute power from Factory Station. This puzzle involves aligning Calibration Units with a Tuning Device. Successfully completing this station introduces the core mechanics for subsequent puzzles.
To reroute Factory Station, locate the three Calibration Units. One unit is in a shop near the station's entrance, another is atop the train on the platform, and the third is behind the stairs on the platform level. After collecting them, place two units in the squares between the two benches and the final unit in the square before the stairs. Interacting with the Tuning Device will confirm the correct alignment.
The Factory Station is located north of the Patterned Factory. Approach the Patterned Factory from the main road, continuing alongside its left wall. At the crossroads ahead, turn towards the wall of mold to find the station entrance.
Rerouting East Park Station
East Park Station is the second objective and introduces the Mold enemy. The puzzle here is slightly simpler than at Factory Station.
Begin by destroying the Mold that covers the three taped squares on the platform. One Calibration Unit is found in a shop to the right after the ticket barriers. Another unit is already on the platform. To find the third, use the Tuning Device to teleport to a different shop within the station; destroy the electrical panel there to access the Calibration Unit. Once all three units are collected, place them in any of the three cleared squares around the Tuning Device. Using the device will reroute the power.
East Park Station is in the southeastern corner of Central. Access Central by passing through a building adjacent to the Field Office, then head right and down. Alternatively, if coming from Factory Station, follow the road past the Patterned Factory to a crossroads, then proceed downwards.
Rerouting Perimeter Station
Perimeter Station requires careful placement of three Calibration Units.
To find the units: one is at the top of the stairs opposite your entry point to the platform, another is behind the stairs on the platform level, often near Mold. The third unit is located in a locked room. To access this room, find the power core down on the tracks, grab an electrical charge from a nearby shop, and dash back to the power core to open the double doors leading to the final unit.
Once collected, place the units: one at the top of the stairs near the mold, one inside the shop (requiring electricity in the power core to enter), and the third closest to the Tuning Device. After placement, use the Tuning Device to reroute power.
The Perimeter Station is located near the building used to travel from the Field Office to the Patterned Factory area. Exit that building and take the road to its right, looking for a sign indicating the Perimeter Area. Follow this road to its end, and the station entrance will be on the left. It's also accessible by taking the left-hand road from East Park Station.
Rerouting Vanished Station
Vanished Station is the final objective of the 'Power Lines' mission and involves calibrating two platforms, A and B.
After attempting to leave and finding the path blocked, first respond to the intercom to check on survivors. Head down the train tracks to Platform A. Use the Tuning Device to reach Platform B, then smash an electrical box near a large gate to allow travel between platforms without the device. Later, to reach the survivors, move an electrical charge from the power core connected to the lights to the one connected to the shop. This will turn off the lights, allowing you to destroy the Mold blocking the survivors' door. Speak with Doctor Florez after freeing them.
There are four Calibration Units in total: two on Platform A and two on Platform B. The units can be found in the shop (accessed after moving the electrical charge), within the room with the survivors (two units), and behind a gate on Platform A (lifted by using an electrical charge on a nearby power core).
To calibrate Platform A, place two Calibration Units in the yellow squares and use the Tuning Device. For Platform B, you must manipulate mold growth. Move an electrical charge to one power core to make mold grow, then move it to another (near the survivors) to stop it from regrowing. Return to Platform B and destroy the mold blocking two metal plates. Place the remaining two Calibration Units in these spots and use the Tuning Device. After defeating new Mold enemies, you can return to Doctor Florez, and the path out of the station will be cleared, completing the mission.
