To access a hidden area within Central in Control Resonant, players must solve a puzzle involving the laundromat's washing machines. This challenge requires players to determine which machines should be on and which should be off, aligning with a pattern found on the laundry's wall.
Laundromat Puzzle Solution
The core mechanic of the laundromat puzzle is to match the operational state of the washing machines to the pattern indicated on a pinned document. A '1' signifies that a washing machine should be turned on, while a '0' indicates it should be off. Importantly, players can only interact with machines that do not display an 'Out of Order' sign, simplifying the process. The instructions for solving the puzzle are based on the arrangement of machines from left to right, as viewed from the laundromat's entrance.
Follow these steps to solve the laundromat puzzle:
- Turn on the middle machine in the leftmost bank of washing machines.
- In the middle block of machines on the left side, turn on the two adjacent machines located in the center of the row.
- Within the same left block, activate the two machines positioned at the outer ends of their row.
- Proceed to the right-hand block of washing machines and turn off the machine on the left side of its row.
- Facing the washing machines against the right-hand wall, locate the right-hand block and turn off the machine on its left side.
- Move to the washing machine row on the far right of the room and turn on the machine situated at the left end of this row.
- Finally, turn on the washing machine belonging to the right-hand block.
If the secret hideout does not open, it is advisable to re-check the status of each washing machine against these steps.
Upon successful completion of the puzzle, the door to the secret hideout will unlock, granting access to a Health Upgrade Point and various collectibles.
Laundromat Location in Central
The laundromat is situated in the northeastern part of Central. Access can be gained by entering the building directly to the east of the Field Office. This building is located between East Park Station and Perimeter Station, opposite the area's basketball courts. Alternatively, players can fast travel to 'Central Frontline' and proceed south.
Initially, the laundromat will be inaccessible due to a Hiss barrier. Destroying the Hiss Nodes indicated by red lines leading from this barrier will clear the path.
