To complete the "The Party Won't Stop" side quest in Control Resonant, players must correctly answer karaoke lyrics to prevent civilians from perishing. This quest is located in the West Incursion Zone, where Dylan will hear singing emanating from a building southwest of some mold growth. The primary entrance is locked, necessitating an alternative route.
Accessing the Party
Entry to the building is only possible through the roof. Players must first acquire the Shift traversal ability from the Parking Garage fault in the West Incursion Zone, which allows for movement on vertical surfaces. Once obtained, proceed northeast from the locked main door and ascend the vertical road using Shift. After taking the first right, combat any enemies encountered, then travel west to the edge of the buildings. From this vantage point, the roof of the target building and an accessible rooftop door will be visible.
Upon reaching the rooftop, players can report the bodies, then head inside to find the ongoing party. Descend to the lower level and enter the room on the left to find the karaoke machine. Interacting with it initiates the quest.
Karaoke Song Solutions
During the karaoke sequence, choosing incorrect lyrics or failing to respond within the time limit will result in the death of a partygoer. While this has no impact on game progression, it does prevent the "Be What You Want To Be" achievement or trophy from being earned. To ensure all civilians survive, the following lyrics must be selected in order:
- Gasoline
- Stress
- So fleeting
- Too long
- Move
- Fear
- Everything
- Higher and higher
- Shout
Upon successful completion of the karaoke segment, players will receive the Varsity Jacket outfit and the Untapped Bar Blade artifact for Dylan's loadout. A conversation with the partygoers will provide further narrative details, and Zoe will dispatch FBC agents to safely evacuate the civilians.
