Ship battles are a central element of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, culminating in challenging endgame encounters against four Legendary Ships. These powerful vessels are strategically positioned at the corners of the open world, each presenting a unique test of the player's naval prowess.
Preparation
Before confronting these formidable foes, ensuring the Jackdaw is equipped with the best available upgrades is crucial. Focusing on Ultimate Plan upgrades, of which there are 12, will significantly improve your chances of victory. Additionally, recruiting all three new officers introduced in Resynced is highly recommended. La Dama Negra
Situated in the southwestern corner of the map, La Dama Negra is unlocked after capturing Fort Serranilla. This ship is notably armored on its sides and front, rendering its side plating impervious to swivel gun fire. The weak point is its rear, where precise hits can be followed up with swivel guns. La Dama Negra frequently employs mortars, necessitating players to stay close and circle the ship to maintain an offensive advantage and avoid these projectiles. Approaching the rear directly can result in the ship deploying barrels, which must be avoided. As its health diminishes, the ship attempts to create distance by sailing away and launching more mortars. Persistent circling and effective use of the Perfect Brace ability are key to victory.

El Impoluto

Its long-range cannons can strike from distances exceeding the player's own cannon range. Players must brace when the ship's sides illuminate, indicating an imminent cannon volley. Upon losing segments of its health, the El Impoluto unleashes a prolonged barrage of heated cannonballs at close range. Maintaining distance can mitigate some of these attacks, but bracing is essential during its offensive phases.

HMS Fearless & Royal Sovereign
Found in the northeastern corner of the map, the HMS Fearless and Royal Sovereign are unlocked by capturing Fort Eleuthera. The primary objective is to avoid being positioned between the two vessels, as this allows for coordinated cannon barrages. The ships will attempt to surround the player, forcing difficult defensive maneuvers. Although they possess less health individually compared to other legendary ships, their combined assault is formidable. At approximately 50% health, both ships begin deploying barrels. Players should evade these and wait for an opportune moment to attack. Once one ship is defeated, the remaining vessel becomes more aggressive, employing ramming tactics and extended cannon volleys similar to El Impoluto. It is advantageous to defeat both ships in close succession to minimize the duration of the intensified second phase.
