Final Fantasy: Resonance Guide: How to Unlock Cloud Strife

Final Fantasy: Resonance players can recruit the fan-favorite character Cloud Strife within the game's first chapter. Cloud appears as a Vision, which are equippable characters that assist the player's party in combat. To obtain Cloud, players must visit his designated sanctum in the overworld. The Sanctum of Cloud becomes accessible early in the game, following the initial events at the Earth Shrine and during the journey into the western desert region. Players should visit the Village of Kol before attempting to reach the sanctum, as it is not accessible from the desert's eastern side. The journey to the sanctum begins at Grandport Harbor. From the harbor, players should proceed north, then cross a bridge slightly to the east. Immediately after crossing a sand waterfall, head directly north, passing a nearby cave, and then looping south to find the Sanctum of Cloud. Inside the sanctum, players must approach and interact with a crystal. This interaction will trigger a narrative explanation of Cloud's character, followed by a short quiz. The answers to these three questions do not impact the outcome of obtaining Cloud. Upon answering the questions, Cloud will be added to the player's party as a Vision. Cloud is classified as a Breaker, a role focused on staggering enemies and dealing significant damage. Equipping Cloud to a character enhances their ability to learn new skills for this purpose. Early in the game, pairing Cloud with Lasswell, who also has the Breaker role, can create a potent staggering combination. Cloud's unique Resonance attack, Ascension, is particularly effective against single targets, especially those vulnerable to Lightning damage. This makes him a valuable asset when facing challenging bosses, such as Siren, who is encountered in Chapter 1. Final Fantasy: Resonance is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
