Players can bestow one item per character per week. The success of a gift is indicated by on-screen prompts: "They really liked it" with two yellow arrows signifies a favorite item, doubling the support points gained. A simple "They really liked it" grants significant support, "They liked it" provides a moderate increase, "They kind of like it" offers a small boost, and "They don't like it" results in no support gain.
Beyond gifts, characters can also increase their support link with non-party members by inviting them to share meals. Previewing the weekly menu allows players to select dishes that align with a character's known likes, with a gold star next to their name indicating a high likelihood of enjoyment. The number of meal invitations is limited per week, so strategic choices are key.
Once characters join your party, support levels can be further improved through actions like attacking or healing adjacent allies, sharing meals, and training together in the arena.
Gift Item Types
Most characters exhibit consistent preferences within broader item categories. If a character likes one item from a specific class, they will generally appreciate other items from the same class, though exceptions exist. For instance, a character might favor horse-related items but dislike a specific item like the Mane Ornament if they ride a different type of mount.

For example, Cai, one of the Flame Lords, is described as innocent and modest, meaning overly enthusiastic responses will not boost support. Other Flame Lords, like Dietrich, appreciate a like-minded rival, while Theodora responds best to appeals to nostalgia and reassurance of shared goals with the kingdom. Leda desires shared experiences and friendship. Learning character personalities through their bios will help in selecting the best dialogue choices.
