Breeding Pals in Palworld allows players to hatch powerful new creatures, fill out their Paldeck, or create stronger base workers. To begin breeding, players will need to construct a Breeding Farm and procure at least one Cake.
The Breeding Farm becomes available at Player Level 19 and requires two Technology Points to unlock. Once unlocked, it can be built using 100 Wood, 20 Stone, and 50 Fiber. Due to its size, players may wish to place the farm strategically, perhaps at a secondary base if one is available.
After constructing the Breeding Farm, a Cake must be crafted. This item is essential for the breeding process and must be placed in the designated box on the right side of the Breeding Farm to initiate breeding.
With the Cake in place, players can then choose the Pals they wish to breed. It is recommended to focus on breeding rarer Pals, such as those with unique passive traits, Alpha Pals, or Lucky Pals, as these traits can be passed down to offspring, resulting in more potent creatures. Players will need to assign one male Pal and one female Pal to the Breeding Farm. Once assigned, the Pals will begin the breeding process.
A timer will indicate the duration of the breeding process. Once complete, players can collect the resulting Egg. This Egg must then be placed in an Incubator to hatch into a new Pal. It is important to note that a new Cake is required for each breeding attempt.
