To alter the visual appearance of your weapons and armor in The Witcher 3 Remastered, a transmog system is available, but it requires unlocking specific master craftsmen. These artisans allow you to reforge gear to adopt the look of other items.
Unlocking Master Craftsmen
There are two key craftsmen you need to find. Yoana is the master armorer, and Hattori is the master swordsman. To unlock Yoana, you must complete the quest "Master Armorers." Hattori becomes available after completing the quest "Of Swords and Dumplings."
Visiting the Craftsmen
Once unlocked, Yoana can be found in Crow's Perch. She can change the appearance of your chest armor, gloves, trousers, and boots. Hattori is located in Novigrad and can alter the appearance of steel swords, silver swords, and ranged weapons.
Reforging Equipment Appearance
When you visit the appropriate craftsman, open their shop interface and select the 'Reforge' tab, which is marked with an eye icon. Choose the equipment slot you wish to change. You will then be prompted to select the new appearance for your item. After confirming your choice and reviewing the cost, finalize the transmog process.
