The "A Path Not Yours" quest in Arc Raiders tasks players with locating a nomad trail and returning to the legendary Bilguun's hideout. This quest takes place entirely on Blue Gate and must be completed within a single round. Players seeking the optional secret stash should equip a zipline or grappling hook.
The quest has five steps: find the start of the nomad trail under the Highway Collapse, follow trail markers to the nomad hideout, locate Bilguun's gift at the buried cache, loot the optional secret stash within Bilguun's hideout, and finally, deliver the broken compass to the Nomadic Envoy.
Finding the Nomad Trail
To begin, players must travel to the Highway Collapse location on the southwest area of the Blue Gate map, west of Olive Grove. Directly north of the "Collapse" text on the in-game map and slightly outside the highway's cover, a small yellow cairn, a pile of stones, marks the start of the nomad trail. Interacting with this cairn completes the first objective.
Locating the Nomad Hideout
While players could naturally follow the trail markers, the quest progresses simply by arriving at the next location. Players should head west, following the pillars supporting the highway, until the objective updates near a section of the road that has been destroyed.
Accessing Bilguun's Gift and Secret Stash
Bilguun's hideout is a small room located in the underbelly of the highway in the southwest corner of the map. Players can access it by grappling from the top of the highway or by using the zipline already present. If using the zipline from the ground, players can jump off just before reaching the top and climb up.
For the optional objective, players can loot the secret stash within the hideout. This stash is a prank, triggering firecrackers upon opening.
The primary objective requires players to return to the bottom of the highway pillar and dig up a cache. After retrieving the broken compass, players should store it in their safe pocket. The quest concludes by returning to Speranza and speaking with the Nomadic Envoy, who will reward the player with 2,500 XP, a tillurion, two magnets, two batteries, and two power cables.
