The Art Lover quest in Black Flag Resynced tasks players with finding 30 art pieces scattered across the Caribbean to return to Great Inagua's manor. This quest introduces a new character, Bernard, an aged butler who previously served the manor's former owner. Players will need to speak with Bernard after collecting 15 and then 25 pieces before the quest can be fully completed.
Upon completion, players will be rewarded with one of Ezio's outfits, the Master Assassin outfit, and an Obsidian Hull ornament. It's important to note that Templar and pirate portraits displayed in the manor do not count towards this collection.
Acquiring Art Pieces
There are multiple ways to gather the required art pieces:
Ship Models
Every time a player successfully boards a new ship after defeating it, they receive its model. These models can be displayed in the manor's main room and count towards the Great Inagua art collection. With both British and Spanish variants for each ship type, players can easily acquire ten art pieces through this method. Additional ship models are also unlocked as the main story progresses.
General Stores
General stores in the game offer six art pieces for purchase. However, these items are bought with Reales, so players may wish to consider this a last resort depending on their urgency to complete the quest and obtain Ezio's outfit.
Plantation Warehouses
Looting plantation warehouses for the first time yields a painting that can be hung in the manor, contributing to the art collection. These plantations are identifiable by island symbols featuring three plants. Players must enter the plantation, find a key, and unlock the warehouse door. These locations can also contain treasure maps.
Kenway's Fleet Missions
Certain Kenway's fleet missions, specifically Piracy and Trade missions, offer art pieces as rewards. These missions are organized via the map in the manor or the Jackdaw's cabin and are indicated by a scale and skull symbol. Players will need a brig for Piracy missions and a schooner for Trade missions. Art rewards are typically marked with a small furniture or art piece icon and often appear with "1x" next to them, similar to map pieces.
Treasure Maps
Some, but not all, buried treasure chests contain art pieces. Specifically, art pieces can be found from the New Bone (722,607), Abaco Island (543,694), Jiquey (812,114), and Principe (605,132) treasure maps. The Principe treasure map is only accessible after progressing to the island of Principe, as it is not on the main game map.
Once the 30 art pieces are gathered, players should return to Bernard in Great Inagua. Quest progress can be tracked by opening the world map, accessing the quest list via the prompt in the top right, and toggling the Art Lover quest to active.
