How to Complete the 'Home to Roost' Quest in Arc Raiders

The 'Home to Roost' quest in Arc Raiders, introduced with the 'Frozen Trails' update, is a challenging undertaking that takes place entirely on the Blue Gate map. Players will need to traverse the back tunnels, confront enemies, and locate specific areas to progress. This guide outlines the steps to successfully complete the quest.

'Home to Roost' Quest Objectives

The quest consists of eight sequential objectives:

Reach the back of the Blue Gate tunnels.
Scan an android in the back of the Traffic Tunnels.
Locate the Mantikor locker room.
Search the locker room for clues.
Read the last vehicle weighing logs.
Find the hidden key (optional).
Enter the Confiscation Room.
Transmit Mantikor's last security recordings to Shani.

Navigating Blue Gate Tunnels and Scanning Androids

To begin, players must reach the rear sections of the Blue Gate tunnels. This area encompasses locations like the Outer Gates, Warehouse Complex, Gate Control Room, and Headhouse. The objective is to find an underground path. While multiple entrances exist, a common route is through the Outer Gates, though this may involve encountering patrols of Bastions or Bombardiers. Once underground, players should consult their map to identify the Traffic Tunnel.

The Traffic Tunnel bifurcates near the Headhouse. Reaching the back wall of either path fulfills the first objective. For the subsequent step, it is recommended to take the northbound road on the left, as this area is populated with androids. Approach and interact with any android to complete the scanning objective.

Locating the Mantikor Locker Room and Clues

With the android scanned, players should open their map and navigate towards the Security Wing. A distinctive blue Mantikor sign above a locked door marks the area. Before proceeding to the locked door, ascend the nearby stairs and follow the path, dealing with any hostiles. Turn right at the top to find the locker room entrance, marked by another Mantikor sign on the interior wall.

Inside the locker room, the objective is to search for clues. The relevant clue is a red painting located in the back corner of the room. Interact with this painting to advance the quest. Accessing the Vehicle Weighing Logs

After finding the clue, return to the area with the locked door. To the left, players will find the vehicle weighing station, which contains a damaged vehicle. On the side of the station closest to the wall is a terminal. Interact with this terminal to read the last vehicle weighing logs. A box will then drop to the ground; searching this box will yield a spare key. Entering the Confiscation Room and Transmitting Recordings

With the spare key in hand, return to the previously encountered locked door. Use the key to gain entry and proceed to the back room. The final objective requires interacting with a shoebox located atop the metal shelves in the center of the room. This interaction will trigger the transmission of Mantikor's last security recordings, completing the quest. Upon returning to Shani, players will be rewarded with 5,000 XP, a surge shield recharger, two sterilized bandages, and two antiseptic items. This also initiates the next quest, 'Someone Else's Shoes'.
