How to Extend Nighttime in Moonlight Peaks

Players seeking to extend the duration of nighttime in the farming and life simulation game Moonlight Peaks can achieve this by obtaining a special item from Death. This allows for more flexibility in completing objectives, exploring the game world, and deepening relationships with villagers, which is particularly beneficial as certain seeds only grow in specific seasons.

To acquire the ability to lengthen nights, players must first obtain the Antique Clock from Death. This item is bestowed upon the player after they have collected a total of 11 Soul Blobs. Death will then appear at the player's doorstep on the night following the collection of the eleventh Soul Blob, delivering the Antique Clock.

Once the Antique Clock is in possession, players can adjust the night duration through the game's settings menu. Upon opening the pause menu and navigating to the 'Settings' tab, players will find a 'Gameplay' section. Within this section, an option labeled 'Night Duration' can be modified, allowing players to choose between two longer night lengths: 15 or 25 minutes.

The change in night length takes effect immediately, even if the player alters the setting mid-night while actively playing. This feature provides an advantage if a player realizes they need additional time for resource gathering or wish to explore further before the current night concludes.
