How to Get and Use Fulton Drop Markers in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ

Fulton drop markers in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's DMZ mode function as portable exfiltration points, allowing players to escape danger without needing to reach a traditional exfil location. However, these markers are classified as ultra loot, making them exceptionally rare.

Some players received fulton drop markers as part of a survival starter kit included with the deluxe edition of the game. Additionally, reaching the maximum rank in DMZ, level 70, unlocks the advanced SERE survival kit, which also contains these markers.

To obtain fulton drop markers through gameplay, players must find the fulton drop marker recipe as random loot. Once acquired and safely extracted, the recipe can be used at a 3D printer to craft more markers. The crafting process requires one prototype RF module, three comms modules, and five control units. Prototype RF modules can be found by looting deathstalkers.

The most effective strategy for finding the recipe, as well as the markers themselves, is to search in high-threat areas known for rare loot. These locations include the Haneul Nuclear Reactor, Chang-San Air Base, and The Grid. Fulton drop markers can also be found as standard loot within containers in these zones.

When a fulton drop marker is used, it calls in a care package to the player's location. Interacting with this care package initiates the exfiltration sequence, which involves a long rope attached to a plane. Upon the countdown's completion, players standing near the rope will immediately exfil. This method bypasses the need to travel to common exfil points, which are frequently contested areas.
