While other Pals may also drop this resource, Digtoise and Dumud, frequently encountered in the desert biome, are particularly effective for farming. Players venturing into these desert areas should ensure they have heat-resistant gear for survival.
As players progress into their mid-20s, hunting Relaxaurus becomes a viable option. These Pals can be found in an area near the Ascetic Falls fast travel point, making them convenient to track. However, players should be prepared for their challenging attacks.
To maximize oil acquisition, players can choose to catch Pals and then butcher them using the meat cleaver, which can be unlocked at level 12. This process yields both an initial drop from capture and an additional drop from butchering.
