How to Locate the Hidden City of Mysidia in Final Fantasy: Resonance

Midway through Final Fantasy: Resonance's main story, players gain access to an airship, unlocking the ability to travel freely across the world map. Shortly after acquiring this new mode of transportation, players will be tasked with finding the hidden city of Mysidia, a quest that can prove challenging without specific guidance.

To begin the search for Mysidia, players must progress to Chapter 5 of the game. At this point, a newly integrated radar system on the airship becomes available. When flying over the world map, activating this radar via the right trigger will prompt the character Lid to comment on whether any traces of Mysidia are being detected. While randomly pinging locations across the map can eventually lead to Mysidia, a more direct approach is available.

To pinpoint Mysidia's location, players should navigate to the southernmost region of the game's world map. Identify the large landmass of the Kingdom of Pharm on the left side of the screen, and look for two smaller islands situated nearby. Maneuver the airship to pass between these landmasses and continue slightly further south. Once in this area, activate the radar ping. This action will reveal the hidden city of Mysidia.

The radar system introduced for locating Mysidia serves a secondary purpose later in the game, assisting players in discovering hidden treasures scattered across the world. The method for finding these treasures mirrors the process for locating Mysidia: players fly around the map, pinging periodically until Lid detects something, and then follow her directions to acquire the loot.

Final Fantasy: Resonance is currently available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
