Sources of Ancient Technology Points
There are several primary methods for acquiring Ancient Technology Points. The most consistent sources involve confronting and defeating powerful entities:
Tower Bosses
Palworld features eight distinct Tower Bosses, each presenting a significant combat challenge. The tutorial introduces players to Zoe and Grizzbolt, one of these formidable bosses. These encounters are designed to be difficult, with bosses possessing substantially more health than regular Pals or even Alpha Pals found in the open world. Upon the first successful defeat of a Tower Boss, players are rewarded with five Ancient Technology Points. It is important to note that these points are awarded only for the initial victory against each Tower Boss.
Alpha Pal Bosses
Numerous Alpha Pal Bosses are dispersed across Palworld's diverse environments. These encounters can occur organically in the open world or within instanced dungeons. Identifying Alpha Pal Bosses can be slightly challenging, but they are visually indicated on the in-game map by a circular portrait icon. The difficulty of these bosses scales as players progress.
