Repairing the Projector
During the "Richard: Another Attempt" mission, Richard discovers a broken projector in the Boardroom on the fifth floor of the CEG Headquarters. To repair it, players must find a new projector lens and bulb. Before leaving the Boardroom, obtain the Level 3 and 4 clearance card. Proceed to the third floor and use the card to access Public Relations. From there, ascend to the fourth floor's Media Department, where the CEG Storeroom Key can be found in the northwest corner.
This area, like others in the CEG HQ during this mission, is patrolled by stealth enemies. Players should ensure Richard's shotgun is prepared.
Use the CEG Storeroom Key to unlock the east office within the Media Department. The projector bulb is located in a cabinet labeled "general storage." Inside the same cabinet is the CEG checkout sheet, which indicates the projector lens is in the Finance Department on the third floor and provides a door code: 2709.
Return to the third floor and use the code 2709 to enter the Finance Department via the east door. The projector lens can be found within the CFO's desk in the northwest corner.
After returning to the Boardroom on the fifth floor and viewing a cutscene, players will find that the projector slides are missing. Collect the CEG Maintenance Key from a nearby corpse and use it to access Maintenance on the fifth floor.
Descend via ladders to the second floor, then take the southwest stairs to reach the first floor. Navigate to the southeast stairs, which lead to "The Gallery" Meeting Room. Here, players can collect the presentation slides. Once acquired, return to the Boardroom on the fifth floor.
Solving the Projector Slides Puzzle
To proceed, the projector slides must be arranged in the correct sequence. The solution involves holding each slide up to the light to identify its corresponding content and matching it to the six discussion points displayed on the projector screen. Each slide should then be placed in the projector slot that corresponds to its matched discussion point.
For instance, projector slide D, which features a newspaper, should be placed in slot 1, aligning with the meeting agenda's point about discussing recent headlines.
The correct order for the slides is as follows:
- Recent headlines: Projector slide D.
- External demonstrations: Projector slide F.
- Company hierarchy: Projector Slide B.
- Financial projections: Projector slide C.
- Public inquiry: Projector slide E.
- Counter arguments: Projector slide A.
Once the slides are correctly placed, activating the projector will resolve the puzzle and conclude the "Richard: Another Attempt" mission.
