Aniimo's first major expansion, 'Departure with the Wind: Part 2,' has introduced a vast new tropical archipelago called Whisperwake Isles. This expansive map features four distinct regions: Crescent Bay, Rosy Mirelands, Wildwater Gorge, and Cloudreach Falls, offering new main story quests, puzzles, and exclusive Aniimo to discover. However, players must meet certain prerequisites to access this new content.
Unlocking Whisperwake Isles
To gain entry to Whisperwake Isles, players need to achieve player level 55 and obtain the Grade I Trailblazer promotion from Dr. Lewis. Additionally, the existing 'Everlasting Echoback Song' Journey questline must be completed. This will automatically trigger the season's new story quest, 'A Tale of Tide and Song.' Upon completing this quest, players will unlock 'A Song from the Sea.' The conclusion of this questline is required to unlock the first region of Whisperwake Isles, Crescent Bay.
Continuing through the Whisperwake Isles missions will gradually unlock access to the remaining three map regions. Players who have finished all of Aniimo's launch missions should automatically receive a call from Dr. Lewis, initiating the progression toward this new content.
Navigating Back to Whisperwake Isles
Returning to Whisperwake Isles after exploring its new areas or visiting the Aniimo Homeland can be confusing due to the in-game map interface. The map primarily displays the original Idyll region. To locate Whisperwake Isles, players must scroll down on the Idyll map. The new archipelago is situated to the southeast of Idyll. Once located, players can access any fast travel points they have unlocked within the new map regions.
