Modern Warfare 4 DMZ: How to Increase Your Stash Size

Increasing your stash size in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's DMZ mode is a crucial step for managing your inventory. The default stash limits players to 40 items and 12 weapons, a common constraint in extraction shooters that necessitates careful inventory management. Fortunately, DMZ offers a way to expand this capacity.

Upgrading Your Stash

Once you reach level two in DMZ, you will unlock the 3D printer. This machine is key to accessing upgrades for both your weapon inventory and your general item stash. To perform the first item stash upgrade, you will need to gather specific resources.

The initial item stash upgrade requires 10,000 cash, 10 rigid synthetics, and 10 electronic sensors. For those looking to upgrade their weapon stash simultaneously, the weapon upgrade requires a larger investment: 50,000 cash, 20 reactive metals, 10 stock rods, and 5 comms modules.

While cash can be earned through selling exfiltrated items and completing objectives, and rigid synthetics are relatively common finds, electronic sensors can be more challenging to locate. Players may need to consult specific guides to efficiently find these components.

Completing this first stash upgrade is highly recommended as it adds 18 item slots, alleviating the need to make difficult choices about which materials and equipment to keep. After the initial upgrade, a second tier becomes available, which demands 50,000 cash along with detonators, nylon cloth, and power regulators.
