Glimpse is an indispensable resource in Mortal Shell 2, vital for enhancing your bond with the various Shells you acquire throughout the game. Amassing a significant amount of Glimpse allows for the full optimization of your chosen Shells, with resources left over for others. Glimpse from Beacons
Cleansing Beacons serves as the primary method for obtaining Glimpse. Most of these fast-travel points contain unique mini-dungeons and challenges, each rewarding one unit of Glimpse upon completion. Some Beacons are found already cleansed, such as Widow's Overlook in Fainweald and the Outskirts of Mammon. Simply entering these locations grants the Glimpse reward.
Glimpse from Corrupted Gates
Each of the six Corrupted Gates scattered throughout Mortal Shell 2 houses multiple Glimpse nodes near their entrances. These gates are marked on the world map but can only be entered after cleansing the adjacent Beacon. Once the Beacon is cleansed and its associated Glimpse collected, the sinewy growths blocking the Corrupted Gate will dissipate, allowing access to the Glimpse nodes.
Glimpse from Vendors
Certain vendors offer Glimpse for purchase using Coins. Merrick in Marrow Keep sells one Glimpse for 500 Coins. Brigand at Mammon Lonesome Spire also sells one Glimpse for 500 Coins; however, be sure to complete any necessary purchases before freeing Vlas, as this will cause the vendor to perish. The Collector at Mammon Abandoned Outpost sells three Glimpse for 1,500 Coins, but this vendor only appears when Night Mode is active.
Glimpse from NPCs and Events
Interacting with specific NPCs or completing certain events can also yield Glimpse. The shade Thestus, when summoned via the Gloombound Flame, provides a Glimpse. Additionally, freeing the Grisha Pup in Mushroom Village results in a Glimpse reward.
Glimpse from Dungeons and Key Locations
Exploration within certain overworld areas and dungeons can also lead to Glimpse. The Sester's Gate Beacon contains an extra Glimpse near a cluster of Ova, in addition to the reward for cleansing the area. Another Glimpse can be found on the Sester's Abbey ramparts, accessible by a vertical jump past the specter field. The Alchemist's Workshop dungeon, which requires the Makeshift Projectile to access, contains several Glimpse units along with a Synaptic Vessel.
