In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, soft soil patches serve a dual purpose: they can yield Gold Skulltulas when a bug is placed upon them, or they can be used to grow Magic Bean plants. Planting a Magic Bean as young Link and returning to the grown plant as an adult can lead to valuable discoveries, including Gold Skulltulas and Pieces of Heart. Since these patches are not marked on the in-game map, locating them can be challenging.

You can purchase Magic Beans from the Bean Seller found at Zora River. As young Link, the first bean costs 10 rupees, with each subsequent purchase increasing by 10 rupees. A maximum of 10 Magic Beans can be bought, totaling 550 rupees.

There are 10 soft soil locations that correspond to the Magic Beans available for purchase. Below is a guide to finding each one, along with the rewards obtained from using a Magic Bean on the grown plant.
