Pure quartz is a vital resource in Palworld, primarily used for crafting circuit boards, which are necessary for advanced assembly lines and other high-tier electrical items. After reaching level 52, players can unlock a dedicated mining site for pure quartz, which, once built, provides an infinite supply harvested by your Pals. However, constructing this site requires 70 stone, 30 Paldium fragments, 10 ancient civilization parts, and 100 pure quartz, meaning you'll need to gather it manually first.
Pure quartz nodes are found in the snowy mountain regions of the northern island. These nodes appear as black rocks with jagged, glass-like spikes protruding from them. While similar in color to coal nodes, they are distinguishable by these spikes. The quartz itself has a color that stands out more prominently against the dark rock, especially at night.
Any pickaxe can mine pure quartz, but a metal pickaxe, which requires 15 stone, 20 wood, and 15 ingots to craft, will significantly speed up the mining process.
Prime Farming Locations
The snowy northern island offers several locations rich in pure quartz nodes. Players can use the Great Eagle Statues scattered across the island as fast travel points to reach these areas. However, navigating the mountainous terrain can be challenging. Placing a Palbox near a good node concentration can streamline resource gathering.
One productive area is located at coordinates (-212, 249), where a total of nine pure quartz nodes can be found. Another cluster of eight pure quartz nodes, alongside two ore nodes, is situated at coordinates (-256, 392).
For those with flying mounts, a location near the Land of Absolute Zero Great Eagle Statue is accessible at coordinates (-238, 491). To the northwest of this region, specifically at coordinates (-415, 471), players can discover another eight pure quartz nodes. The nearest fast travel point for this location is the Garden Beneath the Astral Mountains statue; from there, travel south.
If further supplies are needed, the Frostbound Mountains contain four pure quartz nodes at coordinates (200, 100). These are situated near a high wall atop the mountain peak and can be reached by traveling northeast from the Frostbound Mountains Summit statue.
