Farming Nightstar Sand
The most accessible locations for farming nightstar sand are along the northern coast of Feybreak Island, particularly around the Scorched Ashland teleport point. During the in-game nighttime, the sand glows on the ground, making it relatively easy to spot and collect. Another area to find the glowing sand is along the northwestern shore of Feybreak Island, near the Curved Redrock teleport point.
Players struggling with the limited duration of the default night cycle can adjust the day and night lengths within their world settings. The default nighttime in Palworld lasts approximately five minutes, which can make acquiring sufficient amounts of this resource difficult.
Pal Drops
Two specific Pals, Starryon Primo and Wistella, can also drop nightstar sand upon defeat. However, these Pals are predominantly found in the World Tree area, which is considered an extremely late-game zone. For most players, it is likely more efficient to gather nightstar sand directly from the ground in the aforementioned locations rather than relying on these Pal drops.
