Players undertaking the Hero's Lament quest in Phantom Blade Zero may find themselves searching for Moji's Relic. This quest requires retrieving the relic from the Mountain of Imprisonment, a task that begins after encountering an NPC named Liu Yi outside a large cavern.
Locating the Detached Cage Lever
Liu Yi, Moji's former apprentice, tasks the player with finding his master's relic. The first step involves locating the Detached Cage Lever. This item can be found near the Commander's Platform bell, the area where the boss Bi Feng, Giant Saber Commander, was previously encountered. Players should ascend the archer tower and examine a nearby collapsed house, where a glowing item can be collected from the ground.
It is noted that if the lever is not present, completing the main objective of defeating the chapter boss in the northwestern part of the map may be necessary.
Obtaining Moji's Bloodstained Sword
With the Detached Cage Lever in hand, players can proceed to the area containing hanging cells, specifically where Lu Sanqian was imprisoned. In the upper section of this area, the lever can be used to operate a mechanism that lowers a cell. Inside this cell, players will find Moji's Bloodstained Sword, which serves as Moji's Relic for the quest.
Completing the Quest and Acquiring the Ink Cut
Upon returning Moji's Bloodstained Sword to Liu Yi, a narrative event unfolds where Liu Yi sacrifices himself, believing his blood will purify the weapon. This action rewards the player with the Ink Cut, a new Phantom Edge. The Ink Cut is a martial-type weapon capable of generating a spinning blade called a Radiant Wheel, which detonates if its combo is ended prematurely. Further upgrades can enhance the explosion damage, and the Soul Temper perk allows for the casting of a twinned Radiant Wheel. This quest may also lead to further objectives in the Mountain of Imprisonment involving the Agonized Ironmask and Female Puppet.
