Illusory Pipa Head
The Illusory Pipa Head is obtained by defeating the secret boss, Dusk, in the Village of Lu. To access this encounter, players need to collect Firefly's Memory Flowers as part of the 'Secrets at the Heart of the Lake' quest. This questline will eventually unlock a barrier at the Temple of Blue Fireflies, allowing access to Dusk.
Illusory Pipa Strings
The Illusory Pipa Strings are acquired by defeating Yan Qiansui, also known as The Zither Maiden. This boss resides in the sunken opera house located in the southern part of Meigu Lake. Access to this area is granted after defeating the regional boss and proceeding north from Pangzhen. Players should collect Yan'er's Memory Flowers, which are found floating around the island, including two near the Pangzhen docks, to unlock the opera house and its challenging encounter.
Illusory Pipa Backplate
The Illusory Pipa Backplate is found after defeating the final boss within the Mandate Encampment. To reach this area, players will need a key that can be obtained in Pangzhen, as detailed in a separate guide, which grants access to the region near the entrance to the Village of Lu. After navigating through the encampment and defeating its final boss, the backplate can be collected from a table situated just beyond the battle arena.
Once all three components—the head, strings, and backplate—have been collected, return to Myst in Pangzhen. By selecting the appropriate dialogue option, Myst will repair the Illusory Pipa, enabling players to unseal the barrier in the northeast of Meigu Lake and progress further into the game.
