Players exploring the Weeping Creek Valley in Phantom Blade Zero can discover numerous bundles and baskets in hard-to-reach locations. Accessing these requires a Ranged-Type Phantom Edge, and the first such tool available is the Feather Bow. This guide details how to obtain it.
Acquiring the Feather Bow
The Feather Bow is unlocked by speaking with the Brooding Old Archer, located in the Baishan Outpost. He will task you with retrieving the Broken-String Bow from the Ruthless Archer Camp to the north. After completing this objective, return to the Old Archer, and he will repair the bow for you.
First, locate the Brooding Old Archer. He can be found on the roof of a hut to the right of the Outpost entrance, just before Forge's smithy. Speak with him to receive the "Purge The Sect" quest.
To find the Ruthless Archer Camp, proceed along the main path past the Axemaster boss until you reach the Creek Valley Plains Entrance Bell. Head up the slope and under the large rickety bridge. A tall ladder on the left leads up to the camp.
Once inside the Ruthless Archer Camp, defeat all the enemies present. Upon victory, you will receive a Blackstone Fragment and the Broken-String Bow.
Return to the Brooding Old Archer in the Outpost. He will mend the Broken-String Bow, transforming it into the Feather Bow Phantom Edge.
Using the Feather Bow
The Feather Bow does not need to be equipped in a Phantom Edge slot to be used on the marked loot spots. Approaching a marked bundle or basket will present a button prompt. Using this will fire an arrow from the Feather Bow, bringing the item down for collection.
There are five loot bundles accessible with the Feather Bow in Weeping Creek Valley:
- Opposite the Old Archer's hut: 2x Broadplate Metal, 3x Solvent
- Creek Valley Plains Entrance: 2x Broadplate Metal, 2x Ancient Timber
- Inside the Ruthless Archer Camp: 2x Twinned Metal, 2x Ancient Timber
- Valley Sha-Chi Tower Base (1): 2x Ancient Timber, 2x Mechanical Gear
- Valley Sha-Chi Tower Base (2): 1x Ancient Timber, 2x Broadplate Metal
Players should also be on the lookout for the Cell Key, which can unlock a door outside the Outpost entrance.
