Sell Fries, a Roblox experience, presents players with a familiar premise: running a drive-thru fries restaurant. However, the grand opening takes an unexpected turn when the owner discovers a magical key within a large pile of potatoes, which unlocks a nearby spooky basement. To retrieve this key, players must process potatoes while defending against supernatural entities that appear after sunset. Failure to manage these threats can disrupt automated production lines and hinder progress.
Understanding Sell Fries Anomalies
There are several types of Anomalies that players will encounter in Sell Fries. These range from disruptive customers to environmental hazards and mechanical failures, all of which must be addressed to secure the key and access the basement.
Anomaly Customer
An Anomaly Customer appears at the drive-thru window, identifiable by garbled red text and a blurry visual effect for the player. If not dealt with promptly, these customers will enter the restaurant and become Drive-Through Crawlers. To defeat them, players can close the shutter or use a gun. An optional tip suggests that investing in an automated peeler and fryer allows for the purchase of a Fry Shooter for $12,000, which automatically neutralizes these threats at the window.
Parking Lot Stalkers
When players are outside the restaurant, Parking Lot Stalkers may appear in the parking lot and advance towards them. These creatures, which vary in appearance, are indicated by a text pop-up and an arrow. To defeat them, players can retreat into the restaurant and wait for the entity to leave, or use a gun.
Drive-Through Crawlers
If an Anomaly Customer is not dealt with quickly, they will crawl through the window and advance towards the player. These entities will attack if they get too close. Like Parking Lot Stalkers, players can escape by going outside and waiting for them to leave, or by using a gun.
Power Outage
During nighttime hours, the lights may go out and the potato conveyor belt may freeze, indicating a power outage. To resolve this, players must locate the power box on the wall outside, near the drive-through window. A mini-game requiring players to connect colored wires to their corresponding outlets must be completed to restore power.
The Giant
A notification reading "The Giant" signals the appearance of a towering entity that throws projectiles at the restaurant. A reticule with a moving circle appears on screen; when the outer red circle aligns with the inner circle, an attack is imminent. The Giant cannot be defeated, but his projectiles can be dodged. Running left or right while looking at the reticule will cause the red circle to turn green, indicating a successful dodge.
The Potato Eater
After establishing an automated potato conveyor, players may encounter the Potato Eater, a creature that consumes raw potatoes at the end of the belt, impacting profits. To deal with it, players must approach and hold the interact button for a few seconds to scare it away, allowing potatoes to resume their processing.
Robot Malfunctions
Robot assistants can become possessed and malfunction, indicated by a notification and the robot ceasing movement while emitting distorted dialogue. Players can fix a malfunctioning robot by approaching it and holding the interact button until it resumes normal operation.
