In Silent Hill Townfall, after collecting a series of medications, players are tasked with administering them to a patient. This involves solving a puzzle to determine the correct medication delivery rates. The process begins after gathering the necessary medications as detailed in Part 3 of the game.
Solving the Medication Delivery Rate Puzzle
To administer the medication, players must first set the correct delivery rates on the infusion equipment. The key to solving this puzzle lies in consulting two pieces of information within the game: the Medication Dosage Table found on the PC, and the patient's Body Mass, which is listed as 88kg on a nearby whiteboard.
Using the patient's weight of 88kg and the Medication Dosage Table, the following delivery rates are required for each medication:
- 2.5mg Dextracyclate requires a rate of 15.
- 3mg Hydroxalene requires a rate of 7.
- 11mg Tensobromide requires a rate of 8.
Players should input these specific rates on the infusion machines by pressing 'set rate', entering the value, and then pressing 'ready'. Once all three medications have their rates set correctly, the pump machine to the left of the patient's bed can be interacted with to begin the process by pressing 'start'.
Following this puzzle, players will be directed to acquire equipment from the basement to intubate the patient's breathing.
