Players can begin equipping ambers once they reach Level 5. This process is done within the level-up menu, accessed at any lantern. Upon reaching Level 5, a new slot marked with a '+' symbol will appear on the bottom layer of the level-up interface. Selecting this slot allows you to choose and equip an amber. The game allows players to swap ambers at any time, providing flexibility in adapting to different challenges.
Additional amber slots are unlocked progressively as players level up. The second slot becomes available at Level 15, the third at Level 25, the fourth at Level 35, and the fifth and final slot at Level 45. This means there are a total of five amber slots available for players to utilize.
New ambers are typically acquired through completing quests and discovering them within chests scattered throughout the game world. Any ambers you already possess will also be upgraded to provide more potent passive bonuses when you obtain a duplicate of that amber.
