Razer's Pro Click V2 wireless gaming mouse, designed to alleviate wrist strain caused by traditional mouse postures, is currently available at its lowest price ever on Amazon. The vertical edition of the mouse is 10% off, bringing its cost down to $90.
This ergonomic mouse aims to provide relief by promoting a more neutral handshake position, reducing the pronation—or twisting—of the forearm that occurs when using a standard mouse. This posture can often lead to discomfort and strain during extended gaming sessions.
Razer's Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition was noted in a review for offering "blessed relief from aching wrists and sore tendons," positioning it as an ergonomic solution that prioritizes comfort, with gaming capabilities as a secondary focus. Despite its ergonomic design, the mouse is noted for its substantial weight, tipping the scales at 150 grams, which is significantly heavier than many popular gaming mice.
While the vertical orientation and weight might require an adjustment period, particularly for rapid, precise movements in fast-paced games, the mouse is equipped with features suitable for gaming. It boasts a Focus Pro optical sensor, a 30,000 DPI sensitivity, low input latency, and an estimated battery life of six months on a single charge. These specifications suggest that the Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition does not entirely compromise on performance for the sake of ergonomics.
