ESPN is implementing price increases for its streaming services, ESPN Unlimited and ESPN Select, with the changes set to take effect on September 17. Both monthly and annual subscription costs for these plans will rise.

ESPN Select's monthly price will increase to $13.99 from $12.99, and its annual price will go up to $139.99 from $129.99. ESPN Unlimited will see a larger jump, with the monthly cost rising to $31.99 from $29.99, and the annual cost increasing to $319.99 from $299.99.

The Disney+ bundle that includes ESPN Select will also see price adjustments. The Basic tier of the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Select bundle is increasing to $21.99 per month from $19.99, and the Premium tier is rising to $32.99 per month from $19.99. In contrast, the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN Unlimited bundles are slated to retain their current pricing of $35.99 per month for the Basic tier and $44.99 per month for the Premium tier.

ESPN Unlimited, which launched approximately a year ago, was introduced as a comprehensive sports streaming option. ESPN Select was simultaneously launched to replace ESPN+, automatically migrating existing subscribers. Since their respective launches, both services have expanded their content offerings. MLB.tv was integrated into the ESPN app for the 2026 season, and a sublicensing agreement with The CW broadened the availability of college sports. More recently, ESPN acquired NFL media assets, making the NFL Network accessible to ESPN Unlimited subscribers as of July 30.

This price adjustment follows a trend seen across the streaming industry, including a similar $2 increase implemented by Disney+ last October. ESPN is notifying subscribers of the upcoming changes several weeks in advance. The decision to keep the ESPN Unlimited bundles at their current price may offer increased value for subscribers interested in all three services included in those packages.
