Peacock is set to increase its subscription prices across all three tiers for the fourth consecutive year. The new pricing will take effect on August 18 for new and returning customers, with existing subscribers seeing the change on or after September 17, depending on their billing cycle.

Peacock Select, the service's most affordable option which offers NBC and Bravo programming but excludes movies, sports, and original content, will see a $1 increase, moving from $7.99 to $8.99 per month. The ad-supported Peacock Premium plan, which includes movies, originals, and live sports, is increasing by $2, from $10.99 to $12.99 per month. The top-tier Peacock Premium Plus plan will experience the largest jump, rising by $3 from $16.99 to $19.99 per month.

This latest price adjustment follows a series of increases, with the previous hike occurring in July 2025, and further increases in 2024 and 2023. Subscribers paying the higher prices gain access to a range of content including films like "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie" and "Obsession," original series such as "The Five-Star Weekend," and reality shows like "The Traitors" and "Love Island USA."

The price hikes coincide with a period of financial growth for the streaming service. Peacock achieved its first quarterly profit in the second quarter of 2026, reporting $189 million in adjusted EBITDA. During that quarter, the service added 2 million subscribers, reaching a total of 48 million, while experiencing significant revenue growth with subscription revenue up over 50% and advertising revenue climbing nearly 70%.

Peacock is not an outlier in the streaming landscape, as numerous services including Netflix, HBO Max, Apple TV, and Paramount+ have implemented price increases in recent years. These adjustments are often seen as a strategy to ensure the financial sustainability of streaming businesses. For Peacock subscribers, however, the consistent annual price hikes have become a notable trend.
