Peacock's subscription prices are set to increase for the fourth time in four years, with adjustments affecting both new and existing subscribers. Beginning August 18, new and returning users will face the updated rates. Current subscribers will see the price hike take effect on September 17.

The Peacock Premium tier, which includes advertisements, will now cost $12.99 per month, up from its previous $10.99 price. The ad-free Peacock Premium Plus tier is rising to $19.99 per month, an increase from $16.99. The most budget-friendly option, Peacock Select, will be priced at $8.99 per month, a $1 increase from its former $7.99 cost.

This latest price adjustment follows Peacock's announcement that it achieved profitability for the first time in its history during Comcast's most recent earnings report. Despite this financial milestone, the company is opting to raise prices once more, a trend increasingly common across the streaming industry.

A potential benefit for some subscribers is the upcoming integration of Peacock Premium into YouTube Premium at no additional charge, slated for early 2027. This bundling could offer greater value for individuals who frequently use YouTube or already subscribe to its premium service. While YouTube Premium's price is not expected to change immediately due to this inclusion, future adjustments are not out of the question.
