Remedy Entertainment has announced a substantial increase in its revenue, with a 226 percent surge in the third quarter, largely attributed to the recent release of Control Resonant. The company reported €39.6 million in revenue for the quarter, a notable improvement from the €16.4 million loss experienced in the same period last year.

CEO Jean-Charles Gaudechon described the performance as "a defining milestone for the company." Remedy also reported an operating profit of €0.6 million for the quarter. According to the financial report, the United States represented the largest player base for Control Resonant, followed by Chinese-speaking regions and the United Kingdom.

A key objective for Control Resonant was to reach new players, and early results indicate success in expanding the franchise's audience. Approximately half of the game's players were new to the Control series, suggesting a growing interest in Remedy's intellectual property. The original Control (2019) also experienced a sales increase following the release of the new title.

Remedy's immediate focus is on making Control Resonant accessible to a wider audience, with the CEO stating that the game has established a strong foundation for future growth. The company also has other projects in development, including a remake of Max Payne 1 & 2.

Control Resonant, while artistically acclaimed, received mixed critical reception. Some praised its shift to third-person action, while others found its narrative less impactful than its predecessor. Despite this, the game surpassed one million sales shortly after its launch.
