Ubisoft has officially confirmed the global release and preload schedules for the upcoming remake of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, titled Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. This reimagined version of the 2013 title features updated visuals, gameplay enhancements, and new story content, though its original multiplayer mode and modern-day first-person segments have been removed to focus on the Caribbean exploration.
Pre-loading for the game is already available on Xbox Series X/S. For PC and PlayStation 5 players, pre-loads will commence on July 7, with PC pre-loads beginning at 2 p.m. UTC and PS5 pre-loads at 12 a.m. local time.
The game's full release will also vary by platform and region. On both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, players can begin their adventures on July 7 at midnight local time. For PC players, across Ubisoft Connect, Steam, and the Epic Games Store, as well as cloud streaming services GeForce and Blacknut, the release is staggered. It aligns with 10 a.m. Eastern, 7 a.m. Pacific, and 3 p.m. UK time on July 7.
