Titanium Court, a game that secured the Seumas McNally Grand Prize at this year’s Independent Game Festival, is set to launch on multiple new platforms later this month. Following its release on Windows PC in April, the indie title will become available on October 29 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices, including Android and iPhone.
Developed by AP Thomson, Titanium Court defies easy categorization, blending elements of roguelike, tower defense, match-three puzzling, and classic PC adventure games. The game features an unusual narrative where players are transported to a faerie kingdom embroiled in war. The objective is to defend the kingdom by strategically managing a dynamic battlefield, repositioning defenses, and gathering resources through tile-matching mechanics.
Since its April debut, Titanium Court has garnered significant attention, achieving an 85 aggregate score on Metacritic and proving to be a financial success for indie publisher Fellow Traveller. The expansion to consoles and mobile devices could provide the game with a renewed surge in popularity as awards season approaches.
Critical Acclaim and Industry Recognition
Even before its initial release, Titanium Court had already garnered notable accolades. It was a prominent winner at this year's Independent Game Festival, taking home awards for Excellence in Design and the prestigious Seumas McNally Grand Prize. This marked a historic achievement for AP Thomson, as they became the first developer to win the Seumas McNally award for two consecutive years, having previously won in 2025 for Consume Me, a title co-developed with Jenny Jiao Hsia.
Polygon’s review in April described Titanium Court as an “inventive work of comedy that’s a joy to outwit.” With the upcoming release, players who do not have access to a PC will soon have the opportunity to experience the game's acclaimed gameplay.
