Beast of Reincarnation, the new soulslike title from Game Freak, is set to launch globally on Tuesday, August 4. However, players in certain time zones can begin their journey with Emma and her companion Koo as early as Monday, August 3.
The PlayStation Store indicates that the game will be accessible starting at 8 p.m. EDT on Monday, August 3. This translates to 5 p.m. PDT on the west coast of North America, and 9 p.m. BRT in Brazil on the same day.
For players in Europe, the release will occur on Tuesday, August 4, with the game unlocking at 2 a.m. CEST for western Europe and 1 a.m. BST for the United Kingdom. Further east, the game will be available at 9 a.m. JST in Japan and 10 a.m. AEST on Australia's east coast, also on August 4.
Pre-ordering Beast of Reincarnation offers players several in-game bonuses. The base game purchase before release includes a Brown Shiba skin for Koo and 30,000 amber, which can be used for in-game items and upgrades. The deluxe edition expands on these rewards, adding a Black Shiba skin for Koo, along with the Big Dipper sword skin and Oni's Hat skin for Emma. It has not been specified if the 30,000 amber is included with the deluxe edition pre-order.
Early impressions suggest a challenging but rewarding experience. Jen Glennon noted in a preview that despite a steep learning curve, the potential for customization and the unfolding story are highly engaging, creating a strong desire to continue playing.
