Final Fantasy Resonance Launches October 22 with Two Editions, Preorder Bonuses Detailed

Final Fantasy Resonance, a new turn-based RPG featuring HD-2D graphics and a story adapted from the mobile game Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius, is scheduled for release on October 22 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The game will be available in two distinct editions, with preorder bonuses also detailed for early adopters.

The Digital Deluxe Edition of Final Fantasy Resonance includes the base game along with the Magitek & Grimoire Deluxe Pack. According to Square Enix, this pack provides an item to change a chocobo's appearance to magitek armor, an exclusive item that unlocks a specific character's Fel Meteor Limit Burst, and a selection of useful items to assist players at the start of their adventure. The deluxe edition's extras also include a Magitek Armor Key, Archwitch's Grimoire, Mastery Ring, five Tents, five Mist Potions, five Mist Ethers, five Phoenix Downs, and three Remedies.

Preordering Final Fantasy Resonance will grant players several in-game bonuses. These include a Magitek Airship Passkey, which alters the airship's appearance to a Magitek vessel, a Chestplate of Preparation, a Knight's Greatsword, one Magicite Shard, three Tents, three Mist Potions, a Blessed Cuirass, and one Mist Ether.

Final Fantasy Resonance marks the series' debut with HD-2D graphics. It reimagines the narrative of the mobile title Final Fantasy Brave Exvius into a standalone, single-player RPG experience, removing the original's gacha mechanics. The game features a new overworld and battle system, incorporating familiar Final Fantasy elements such as world crystals, chocobos, airships, and battle summons. Players can also call upon iconic characters from previous Final Fantasy titles, including Cloud, Zidane, and Lightning, to assist in combat.
