This premium version includes the base game along with a comprehensive collection of additional in-game items. The Ultimate Edition content includes the '67 Vapid Dominator Buggy and Paradise Garage, the '95 Grotti Cheetah sports car, and various vehicle customization options at exclusive mod shops. Players will also gain access to a Classic Car Collection, allowing them to restore abandoned project cars, including four vehicles exclusive to the Ultimate Edition. Further bonuses include unique weapon variants like the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolver, special clothing and tattoos for Jason and Lucia, and access to exclusive in-game businesses such as Stock 305 Clothing Store and Sara's Unisex Salon.
The development of Grand Theft Auto 6 has been a lengthy process. Initially slated for an Autumn 2025 release, the game's launch was later moved to May 26, 2026, before being rescheduled to its current November 19, 2026 date. Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar's publisher, cited the need for additional time to ensure the game meets the expected level of polish. Reports have suggested that the game's development cost could be as high as $1 billion to $1.5 billion, with the pre-order campaign expected to help recoup these significant investments.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is described as an immersive single-player experience, with no immediate plans for Grand Theft Auto Online integration at launch. PlayStation has confirmed a marketing deal with Take-Two, and the game is noted as being 'PS5 Pro enhanced'. Similarly, the Microsoft Store listing indicates it is 'Xbox Series X enhanced'. Fans are also anticipating the release of a third trailer, especially given the ongoing marketing push and the significant time elapsed since the last trailer.
