Peak, the indie co-op climbing game that gained significant traction following its launch last year, is set to release on multiple consoles next week. Developers Aggro Crab and Landfall announced that the game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on October 22.
The console versions will include all content updates, biomes, and items that have been added to the game since its initial release, in addition to custom mountain runs.
Peak initially launched last year and quickly became popular among friend groups and on streaming platforms. The term "friendslop" has been used to describe games that foster affectionate camaraderie among players, and Peak has been cited as a prominent example of the genre.
A trailer showcasing the game's humor and gameplay has also been released.
