Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is set to launch on Thursday, August 6, featuring a four-vs-four tag-team fighting system. Players will have the opportunity to control a roster of iconic Marvel superheroes and villains, with the ability to combine any four characters to form a personalized dream team. The game will be available on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC.
The global release of Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls is scheduled for 11 a.m. EDT on August 6. This translates to 8 a.m. PDT on the west coast of North America, 12 p.m. BRT in Brazil, and 4 p.m. BST in the UK. Western Europe will see the release at 5 p.m. CEST. For players in Japan, the game will be available at 12 a.m. JST on August 7, while those on the east coast of Australia can expect it at 1 a.m. AEST on August 7.
At launch, Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will feature 20 playable characters. The initial roster includes Black Panther, Blade, Captain America, Carnage, Danger, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, Ghost Rider, Green Goblin, Hulk, Iron Man, Loki, Magik, Magneto, Ms. Marvel, Peni Parker, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Storm, and Wolverine. The developers have indicated that more characters will be added post-launch.
