A demo for Atlus' fantasy RPG, Metaphor: ReFantazio, has begun appearing on regional Nintendo Switch 2 eShops, allowing players to experience the opening hours of the game. The full title is slated for release on November 12.
The Prologue Demo became available for download on October 12, initially appearing on the Japanese and Australian eShops. Players in other regions can expect the demo to become available shortly. A "Download Demo" option should be visible on the game's store page, positioned below the pre-order choice.
This demo, also available on other platforms, features the introductory section of Metaphor: ReFantazio. Progress made in the demo, including saves, will transfer to the full game. The demo concludes either upon reaching a specific story point or after three in-game days have passed, offering a limited but sufficient preview of the experience.
Looking ahead, Atlus is increasing its output on the Nintendo Switch 2. Persona 4 Revival is scheduled for release on the console on May 20 next year, a delay of three months compared to its availability on other platforms. Atlus has also confirmed that Persona 6 will launch on Switch 2, with a physical release planned for the console. Further details regarding Persona 6's release date are expected after Persona 4 Revival launches.
