Pre-orders for Metro 2039 are now available, with developer 4A Games detailing the editions that will be offered at launch on February 4, 2027. A new gameplay trailer has also been released, showcasing pre-order bonuses and the game's editions.
All pre-ordered editions of Metro 2039 will include the Specialist Pack as a pre-order bonus. This pack allows players to unlock Blueprints early, a new feature in Metro 2039 that encourages exploration and enables players to craft upgrades and attachments for weapons and gear. Players can choose from three available upgrades, but only one can be equipped at a time.
The Deluxe Edition, available in both physical and digital formats, includes additional content for players. This includes the official game soundtrack and a concept art book. Additionally, Deluxe Edition owners will receive access to a Story Expansion DLC planned for release in 2027.
For dedicated fans, the Collector's Edition offers the most comprehensive package. This edition features a wearable replica of the Stranger's Spartan helmet, along with all the contents of the Deluxe Edition and the pre-order bonus. The Collector's Edition is described as a way to become fully immersed in the world of Metro 2039, with the helmet suitable for display or cosplay.
The Collector's Edition includes the Metro 2039 game disc for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, or a code-in-box for PC. It also contains an exclusive Steelbook, a hardback art book, the Story Expansion DLC, a digital art book, and the digital soundtrack.
The physical Deluxe Edition includes the game disc for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, or a code-in-box for PC, alongside an exclusive Steelbook, hardback art book, Story Expansion DLC, digital art book, and digital soundtrack.
The digital Deluxe Edition omits the physical disc and Steelbook, but still includes the Story Expansion DLC, digital art book, and digital soundtrack.
A Standard Edition, available in both physical and digital formats, will also be offered.
